Demon Slayer was the best-selling manga for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020, and it has sold more than 150 million copies in circulation as of February 2021. This is why it is not surprising that Ufotable decided to adapt the manga into an anime. So, who are the Demon Slayer voice actors?
Are they some of the voice actors who worked on other shonen anime like One Piece or Naruto? Or is the cast from a different genre such as romance anime or horror anime?
Voice actors play a huge role in the anime adaptation because, aside from the animation, they also help bring the well-loved characters of Demon Slayer to life.
Which Is Better: Subbed Anime or Dubbed Anime?
Before we decide which is which, we have to differentiate the two first. A subbed anime means that the audio of the video is in Japanese (as it was originally released), but it contains English subtitles or any language preferred by the viewer.
Dubbed anime, on the other hand, is when the voices of the characters are not in Japanese but in English, Spanish, or any available language offered by the streaming platform.
Most of the time, English is the language used for subtitles and dubbed versions, but nowadays, other languages such as Spanish and German are also available.
Of course, the preference will depend on the viewer. There are some people who prefer the subbed version more as they want to consider that the anime was originally released that way.
Meanwhile, there are those who get lost trying to read the subtitles, so the dubbed version is better for them.
Just take note that not all anime has a dubbed version. Some shows take time before they get a dubbed version and sometimes, they have none at all.
