After leading in Catalunya, Francesco Bagnaia saw the Aprilia RS-GP ridden by Aleix Espargaro win the Sprint race and explained that the italian manufacturer still needs to find a way to get more out of its Desmosedici, looking already at this sunday’s race.
The current championship leader and reigning world champion didn’t forget the Aprilia’s performance in parc fermé, and explained that Ducati still needs something more to be able to be on top form tomorrow:
– Yes, I’m very happy with second place. Obviously it’s better to win, but in any case I’m happy with the result because the Aprilia is still very competitive and we have to win something for tomorrow’s race. In any case, I’m happy, the result is positive and we’ve got some more points for the championship and that’s certainly the main thing.
